Beaneaters Win Another One
Behind a solid performance from second baseman Ijsbert Kost, the Boston Beaneaters defeated the Hollywood Stars, 6-4. Kost went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs for the Beaneaters. Miguel Gonzáles, credited with the win, is now 8-3. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 6 innings. Will White notched his 30th save in 32 chances.

The Beaneaters got a big at-bat from first baseman Cisco Rodríguez. For the game, Rodríguez went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Boston a 2-1 lead.
