| Oaks Slip Past Miami, 6-5 | The Oakland Oaks and Miami X Giants put on quite a show at Elian Gonzalez Field.
Despite a great performance by Miami third baseman Ernesto López, the Oakland Oaks defeated the X Giants by the score of 6-5 at Elian Gonzalez Field. López was 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. César García converted his 18th save in 19 tries.
The most important at-bat for Oakland came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out, Mike Sullivan reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run, putting Oakland up, 6-5.
"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Miami manager Christian Tregillis.
Oakland is now 31-35, Miami 38-32.
