White Sensational for Stars
|
Right-hander Jacob White mesmerized the Brooklyn Superbas while leading the Hollywood Stars to a 1-0 victory. The Stars bumped their record to 30-30 with this latest triumph.
White, a native of Hackett, New Jersey, was dealing all game. He kept Brooklyn hitters off-balance, while giving the Stars 8 quality innings. White threw 87 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 4.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," White told the Hollywood Daily.
