Spiders Prevail, 3-1, Over Hollywood
|
Cleveland Spiders starter Jesús Colón was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Hollywood Stars, 3-1. Even with the win, the Spiders have a dismal 31-64 record.
Mitsunari Okada, who is a four-time All-Star, aided the Cleveland cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.
"I felt good up there," said Okada. "I saw the ball well."
