X Giants Subdue St. Louis, 4-2
|
The St. Louis Perfectos went down to defeat to Adrian Dunn and his Miami teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the X Giants. Dunn, now 10-6, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Miami, now 48-53, holds third place in the Division 1.
It could have been a different outcome for Miami, had it not been for Johnathan Wagner, the 27-year old center fielder . Wagner contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Miami up, 4-2.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Dunn.
