He may have less experience than most of his New Federal Baseball League peers, but that didn't slow Tsuyoshi Yoshida down at all in 2033.

At the age of 24, the Seattle left fielder has been named the winner of the Robinson League Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .389 batting average and a .431 on-base percentage this year. In 156 games he piled up 250 hits, 45 doubles, 6 triples, 11 home runs, 71 RBIs and 131 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 3 first place votes out of a possible 12. José Echevarría of the Oakland Oaks finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while John Dean of the Seattle Pilots finished third with 3 first place votes.
