Victory Pushes Bayou Rats Record to 45-14
|
Despite a great performance by Rochester first baseman Nathaniel Burns, the Houston Bayou Rats defeated the Redbirds by the score of 8-4 at The Rats' Nest. Burns was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Octávio Sánchez earned the win for Houston. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 8 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0. Houston is now 45-14, 8½ games up in the Division 1.
