The Miami X Giants relied on the hitting of second baseman Julian Blees to stop the Hollywood Stars, 8-3. For the game, Blees went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Hsin-ta Shiu got the win, improving to 8-4. He held the Stars to 1 earned run on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 1. Miami now sits in 5th place in the Division 1 at 26-41.

Blees had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from Hubert Cloutier, he banged a 2-run double to left-center, giving the X Giants a 3-1 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Blees.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Christian Tregillis said.
