Oaks Win 7-6 Walk-Off

The Oakland Oaks beat the Philadelphia Quakers, 7-6, at Monster Park. The Oaks got a fine performance from left fielder John Hucknall, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Oakland reliever Víctor Saucedo was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Mason Stanley took the loss. Oakland is last in the Division 1 with a record of 33-38.
The Oaks got a big at-bat from shortstop Michaël Caron. For the game, Caron was 1-5 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 17th double of the season gave Oakland a 7-6 lead.
