Pilots Win at St. Louis, 7-2
|
Seattle rode a good effort from starter Yic Ow-Yang to beat the St. Louis Perfectos at Juliet Gunn Field. The final score was 7-2. Ow-Yang got the win, improving to 8-10. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 5 innings. Ow-Yang allowed 2 earned runs. The Pilots bumped their record to 81-78 with this latest triumph.
Brett Ackerman, who is tied for 3rd in the RL in triples with 6, aided the Seattle cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Feels good to get the job done," Ow-Yang said after the game.
