Bayou Rats Come Back Late to Clip Stars
Getting a good performance from first baseman Gene Dailey, the Houston Bayou Rats defeated the Hollywood Stars, 7-4. Dailey was 3-3 with 3 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Bayou Rats. Houston is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Dailey had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Ben Henderson, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Bayou Rats a 5-4 lead. It was the 5th double of the year for Dailey.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Dailey said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
